George W Bush’s “gift” to the Middle East

By Matthew Marlon
Over the last hundred years the tribal traditions of the Middles East have persisted. A King, the patriarch of the Saudi family, runs Saudi Arabia. A strongman tribal leader runs Syria. An aggressive traditional religious theocracy runs Iran. A traditional aggressive tribal strongman ran Iraq. Another neighbor of Iraq is Jordan run by King Abdullah. Then comes George W Bush. He looked at the map of the middle east, he choose the most aggressive brutal dictatorial regime and single handedly with a military coop replaced the aggressive brutal murderous regime of Saddam Hussein with a flourishing Democracy. Francisco Franco and the Presidential Campaign

Even some of Sen. Hillary Clinton's most devoted supporters now privately concede the inevitability of Illinois Sen. Barack Obama's winning the Democratic presidential nomination. Firefighters and paramedics throughout Dallas say they are spread too thin by 911 calls and are in absolute desperate need of relief.

On Monday, Dallas Fire-Rescue Chief Eddie Burns plans to make public a draft proposal to reallocate department resources to address the rising demand.

"The call volume has increased, [and] it has outpaced our current resources," Chief Burns said.

The proposal, known as the EMS Vision plan, focuses on the rising number of emergency medical calls, which make up more than 60 percent of the department's total calls, officials said.

For firefighters and paramedics, one issue stands out above all others: the need for more personnel and equipment.

Officials said the vision plan will call for more resources, although they declined to give specifics.

Everything you need to know about the "Big D" is at the tip of your fingers! Thanks to Dallas City News, users can easily go through anything about Dallas!

Infamous as the state where US president John F. Kennedy was assassinated on that fateful November day in 1963, Dallas is also known worldwide courtesy of the long-running television show named after the Texan state and its football team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Dallas is indeed all these and so much more. Dallas City News is your one stop portal to everything and interesting about this city. For tourists, Dallas City News gives users a peek into places of interests including Deep Ellum (Dallas’ headquarters for live music), the Sixth Floor Museum (a hauntingly poignant museum devoted to one of the greatest tragedies in US history, JFK’s assassination), and the Palace of Wax/Ripley’s Believe it or Not (where wax replicas of some of the world’s favorite celebrities are housed).

This portal also helps Dallas locals touch base with businesses in the area for whatever needs they may have. Aptly called Dallas Search, this geo-targeted search engine helps the locals go over the list of local businesses - from finding office suppliers to the perfect golf course for that annual tournament.
