Cowboys injury report: Eagles QB Jalen Hurts ruled out for game

Despite what the records say, the Dallas Cowboys still have much to play for over these next two games. Nothing has been decided on the future of Mike McCarthy as head coach of the Cowboys, and many players on the roster will get a chance to make an impression that could last into the offseason. The Philadelphia Eagles and Cowboys are sorting through key injuries on their team, and after the last injury report of the week, here’s what we know about who will play Sunday.

The Cowboys have ruled multiple players out. The team announced that CeeDee Lamb is out for the last two games with a shoulder injury. Amani Oruwariye (foot) was downgraded today to a DNP and ruled out of Sunday’s game. Donovan Wilson (knee) was downgraded yesterday but shook off a DNP Thursday for a limited tag today and is listed as questionable. Chuma Edoga (toe) was upgraded to limited and is also listed questionable. Also listed as questionable are receivers Jalen Brooks (knee) and Jalen Tolbert (finger). Eric Kendricks (calf) returned to practice yesterday after missing last week’s game. He was limited today and has been listed as questionable to play. Guard T.J. Bass is doubtful (thigh).

Jalen Hurts missed another day of practice in the NFL’s concussion protocol, and he will miss Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. Backup quarterback Kenny Pickett will take Hurts’ place. He was on the injury report earlier this week (ribs) and was a limited participant today. Nakobe Dean (abdomen) was a limited participant and is doubtful for Sunday.
