Cowboys injury report: Johnathan Hankins, Tyler Smith questionable
The Dallas Cowboys are on the cusp of their last regular-season finale against the Washington Commanders, and for the Cowboys, it’s simple. Win on the road against Washington, or a Philadelphia Eagles loss, and the Dallas Cowboys are NFC East champions, with the division not having a repeat champion dating back to 2004.
Teams out of postseason contention often won’t dress many starters for the last game of their season, especially when players are injured. The Commanders are no different, and their injury report this week hints at them sitting some of their starters on Sunday. Advantage Cowboys.
Jonathan Allen is ruled out by the Commanders against the #Cowboys.
Kendall Fuller (NCB1), Christian Holmes (CB), Tariq Castro-Fields (CB) are ruled out and moved to IR.
Kam Curl (SS1) is questionable, as is Casey Toohill (RDE1) and Andrew Wylie (RT1).
Curtis Samuel cleared.

Tyler Smith is listed as questionable. Smith has not practiced this week, sidelined by a foot injury sustained against the Detroit Lions last week, but there is optimism he could play Sunday. Smith has been working with the training staff throughout the week.
Dorance Armstrong and Jonathan Hankins are deemed questionable. Hankins has been limited the entire week and hasn’t played in weeks, whereas Armstrong was downgraded to DNP Thursday but returned to a limited status Friday.
Chuma Edoga, Tyler Biadasz, Juanyeh Thomas, and Chauncey Gholston are also considered questionable with an illness. Edoga, Thomas and Gholston were limited on Friday but Biadasz did not practice. Malik Hooker has an illness/ankle designation and has been ruled questionable. Lastly, Rico Dowdle and Hunter Leupke were full participants and carry no injury designation for Sunday. Meanwhile, Zack Martin and Tyron Smith were removed from the injury report.
