Cowboys injury report: Tyler Smith (foot) limited, Stephon Gilmore (shoulder) DNP
A rivalry renewed, and storylines abound this week as the Dallas Cowboys face off against the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. The Cowboys will meet the Packers in the postseason for the third time in ten seasons on Sunday, with the last two times ending in heartbreak for the Cowboys. Dallas hopes things will be different this time, and after the team secured the NFC East with their win against the Washington Commanders, they have some good news to report regarding the team’s injury status.
Tyler Smith was listed as a limited participant at Wednesday’s practice. Smith missed last week’s game after sustaining a foot injury against the Detroit Lions in Week 17. Stephon Gilmore did not practice because of a shoulder injury, but the team expects him to play this week, and the plan is to have him resume practice activities on Saturday.
Cowboys LG Tyler Smith (foot) will be limited in practice today while CB Stephon Gilmore (shoulder) will be out working with the rehab group, according to Mike McCarthy.
McCarthy said he doesn’t expect Gilmore to get back on the practice field until Saturday.#DallasCowboys

As usual on Wednesdays, several veterans were given the day off to rest. Zack Martin, Tyron Smith, Demarcus Lawrence, Brandin Cooks, and Jourdan Lewis had the day off. Dorance Armstrong and Malik Hooker were a full go at practice with respective ankle injuries. Finally, Jonathan Hankins did not practice with an ankle injury despite returning last Sunday.
