Cowboys vs Eagles recap: Social media reaction to major blowout loss

It was the final road game this season for the Dallas Cowboys, facing divisional rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles came into the game flying high and playoff bound, where Dallas was already out of contention and the end of the regular season will end their 2024 campaign. The game was a massive blowout and here’s what social media had to say during the game.

Cowboys got out on offense to start the game and Cooper Rush threw a pick-six.

Cowboys bounced back and the offense answered the call. Jalen Tolbert scoring a touchdown again in a game.

Cowboys defense held in the first quarter.

It was all square after the first quarter.

DeVonta Smith got wide open in the corner for the touchdown. The Eagles would take the lead.

It’s been a down season for Jake Ferguson and he added to those questions with a fumble.

Andrew Booth got beat again for a huge play.

The play led to a “Tush Push” on the one-yard line.

Micah Parsons hit Kenny Pickett hard on a play in the third quarter.

Third-string quarterback Tanner McKee threw a touchdown to A.J. Brown to extend the score.

With very little on the line as the third quarter ended, some people asked about trying other players.

To add to the problems, Rico Dowdle fumbles the ball and turns it over.

Then it was another touchdown by Philadelphia.

Saquon Barkley hit the 2,000 yard benchmark. Rico Dowdle also made Cowboys history.

Brandon Aubrey hit the post on a 61-yard field goal try. It definitely had the legs.

A fight broke out and players got ejected.
