The City of Fort Worth continues to host community COVID-19 vaccine clinics at convenient locations across the city. Vaccinations are available now for children 5-11 years old at Wilkerson Greines Activity Center. Additionally, the locations offer both initial vaccinations as well as booster shots to those eligible, age 12 and up.
The City of Fort Worth adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate.

Presented by: Dr. Reid Ferring, UNT
Our modern city obscures the lives of the first people who occupied this region. Before the arrival of European and American settlers, an ever changing mix of Native American tribes and bands made their homes on the local grasslands and in the forests of the Cross Timbers. In honor of National Native American Heritage Month, Dr. Ferring will explain what archaeology and early records have revealed about the complexity of cultures and history of the predecessors of today’s Native Americans.
