Austin-based restaurant group opening new location in Addison – Dallas Business Journal – Dallas Business Journal

Austin-based restaurant group Hai Hospitality is opening a Loro location in Addison.
The new restaurant will be located at 14999 Montfort Dr. and is scheduled to open in fall 2022. The location will have a deck for dining and an outdoor waiting area with large trees. The Addison concept will also feature a covered outdoor bar.
The space will be 5,200 square feet and have 140 interior seats and 25 interior tables. The outdoor area will have 150 seats with 65 seats in the waiting area.
The concept’s menu will include a variety of options created by Jack Yoss, vice president of culinary, pitmaster Aaron Franklin and chef Tyson Cole.
“We have been so pleased with the reception we have received at our first Loro in DFW that we set our sights immediately on another Dallas-area neighborhood,” Hai Hospitality CEO Tony Montero said in a statement.  “Addison is thriving, and we are thrilled to bring Loro to this dynamic, growing community.”
Loro is an Asian smokehouse and bar that began as a culinary partnership between Cole and Franklin. The smokehouse is Franklin’s first venture outside of his Franklin Barbecue restaurant in Austin.
The menu features grilled and smoked meats, craft beer, sides and batch cocktails. The restaurant’s first concept opened in 2018 in Austin.
The Addison restaurant will be the brand’s fourth location and its second location in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The first DFW location opened in July 2021 in Old East Dallas.
The restaurant group is planning to open another Loro location in Houston early next year.
