Confidence in the Cowboys grows, victory expected over the Packers
Time to put away childish things. The NFL regular season is over and it’s time to get down to the real work. The NFL playoffs.
The Dallas Cowboys have punched their ticket for the playoffs, and did it rather emphatically. They not only walked down the Philadelphia Eagles and took the NFC East, but their win over the Detroit Lions late in the year ultimately gave them the number two seed in the NFC.
Because of that, they get to start off with a home game against the seventh-seed Green Bay Packers. If they win this week, they get another home game.
The end of the year had a slight wobble when Dallas dropped games against the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, which cratered the confidence number for the team. But recent wins over the Lions and Washington Commanders have changed the mood. We asked if you have confidence in the direction of the team, and that number has climbed all the way back to 88%.
