Cowboys announce finalization of 2024 undrafted free agent rookie class
It has been almost three weeks since the 2024 NFL Draft took place, and the Dallas Cowboys have finalized their undrafted free agency class. We have been tracking all UDFA-related activity since the draft concluded, but iwe never really know until the team makes an announcement. - WR Cam Johnson, Northwestern
- WR Corey Crooms, Minnesota
- TE Brevyn Spann-Ford, Minnesota
- TE Alec Holler, UCF
- DE Byron Vaughns, Baylor
- DE Denzel Daxon, Illinois
- LB Jason Johnson, UCF
- LB Brock Mogensen, South Dakota
- S Emany Johnson, Nevada
- S Julius Wood, East Carolina
- S Josh DeBerry, Texas A&M
All told there are 12 UDFAs on the Cowboys at the moment with the majority, just barely so at seven, being on the defensive side of the ball.
It is fairly common for at least one undrafted free agent to make the final roster. Consider that Brandon Aubrey was a UDFA this time last year and is now regarded as one of the best kickers in the NFL.
